Conflict

There is a large difference between a trait and a state. A trait is like the color of one’s hair. A state is like having a bad hair day.

A bad hair day does not mean that there is anything wrong structurally or fundamentally with the person’s hair. It is simply in the wrong “state.”

What drives a conflict “state” rather than a conflict “trait?”

It is something that can be changed when the feedback pattern is seen and understood.

Feedback patterns are the law of life. If they don’t exist then everything drifts apart.

There is a very predictable pattern to a conflict feedback pattern, based on a Self-Referencing situation or person.

For a person to continue living as a fully Self-Referencing personality the world must mold itself to them.

For this reason they will spend most of their time in a different world or pattern called “Adaptive.”
